Signing Up - Part 2
You made it this far, don't give up now! Clicking on that "Create new blog" link should take you to a screen that looks like this:
Here's where you start getting creative, and from hear on in it's almost all creativity. At that screen you want to make up a title for your new blog. It doesn't matter what the title of the blog is. This title is going to show up at the top of your blog when it's finished, and it'll be the first thing people see when they look at your blog. Next, come up with a description. Again, this can be anything, but a witty quip is encouraged. Why not borrow a one-liner from your favorite movie? The next option you have is whether or not you want to make your blog public or not. Every blog is available to those who have your blog's address, but if you choose to keep your blog private, it won't appear on the recently updated list on blogger's main page, and the chance of random people coming across it will be almost nil. When you're done here, click the "next >>" button and you'll be taken to the second page, which looks like this page down below.
This page just asks you if you want to host your blog at blog*spot, blogger's special blog hosting site, or if you want to host it on your own site. For now, we're going to keep the site at blog*spot, but if you want to move the site to your own host, it's easily changeable in the options menu once you're finished, although it might get a bit more complicated if you don't know much about hosting and ftp. Keep this page as is for now and click "next>>". Now you're on page three. Click here to go to the next page.
